Last week, Rachel and Emma attended a two-day trade exhibition and conference, filled with seminars led by influential speakers in the field.
Over 3000 music teachers around the country attended and it was a great opportunity to chat to professionals in music education, discover the latest ideas and techniques in teaching and generally be inspired!
We also attended some fantastic seminars which included ‘The Musical Brain’ – an insight into how neurology can improve music teaching, talks by ABRSM’s leading professionals, seminars on new approaches to music teaching and the latest in music education’s qualifications.
We are both fully committed to professional development and think it important to constantly refresh skills in teaching, there’s always something new out there, and you never stop learning!
It was a fantastic two days and we both came out feeling inspired and extra-motivated, and just provided confirmation that we love our job! We look forward to attending next year too!
